Polytechnic Ibadan ND Admission List Is Out for 2012/2013

Sequel to the just concluded HND screening in a forth night, Myschoolcomm wish to inform all those who applied for National Diploma programme that the names of admitted students are now out on the school portal.

TO check your admission status in the Polytechnic Ibadan website, follow the instructions below;

1. Login to the school's web address, www.polyibadan.edu.ng

2. Click on "check admission status" under the ND category.
3. There you go!

If you did not meet up with the schools's departmental cut-off mark, fear not; just rush to the school premises tomorrow(Monday) and purchase the supplementary admission form.

History

In 1987, Governor Adetunji Olurin, then the military governor of Oyo State, received to a request by the Governing Council of the Polytechnic Ibadan to establish a state university. He set up a committee that, in 1988, recommended the creation of the university. By March 13, 1990, Nigeria's federal military government accepted the state's request to set up the new university, and the edict establishing Oyo State University of Technology was signed on April 23, 1990.
The first Vice-Chancellor of the University was Professor Olusegun Ladimeji Oke. Bashorun M.K.O. Abiola became the first Chancellor in January 1991. The first academic session began on October 19, 1990. A total of 436 candidates enrolled in four faculties: namely, Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering and Management Sciences, and Pure and Applied Sciences. A College of Health Sciences was established a year later.
The name of the university was changed to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology after the separation of Osun State from Oyo State.

Campus and academics

The university enrolls nearly 20,000 students in six faculties and a college. For two consecutive seasons, in 2003 and 2004, the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) rated the university as the best state university in Nigeria.
The university's main campus is located in Ogbomosho. This main campus is the site of the university's administration, as well as home to five faculties and the post-graduate school. Fields of study include pure and applied science, medicine, agriculture, engineering and technology, and environmental science.
Another campus is located in Osogbo, home to the College of Health Sciences. Faculties in medicine and surgery, medical laboratory technology and nursing are housed there.

Unilag Official Admission List for 2012/2013 is Out

The University of Lagos has hereby released the Unilag Admission List of successful students for the 2012/2013 academic session. PLEASE READ EVERY PART OF THIS PUBLICATION CAREFULLY Checking the admission list is absolutely free to check and now available online on the official portal of the institution. How to carefully check the Unilag Admission list 1. It's advisable to check this list using a computer system (not mobile phone) to be thorough in checking the list. Remember, if your name is one the list and you don't properly check to see it, you will lose your admission. 2. The list is arranged according to Faculties. This means that each faculty have their respective departments. Now to carefully check the Unilag Admission list for 2012/2013, you have to click on your listed faculty below (Preferably with a computer system). Once the page loads up, the 1st list of admitted students is displayed to you. Please note that this is not the entire list for the faculty. 3. Once you are done checking the list displayed to you, look at the bottom of your screen to see the horizontal listing of other departments in that faculty. Click on each of these departments to reload the page and display the corresponding list. Then check thoroughly again. 4. UNILORIN Admission List out

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has updated their website with the list of admitted students for the 2012/2013 academic year. Myschoolcomm earlier made a publication instructing the candidates to check their admission status on JAMB website. Many people who tried that were lucky to have seen their admission notice before now.
