Frowning over the fraudulent act of candidates registering for the same exam twice; Prof. Dibu the Registrar of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board pointed it out as one of the reasons some candidates
results were not released.
According to him the board is on the move to ensure that any candidate caught in such act again will be banned from writing the examination for three years.
He mentioned that the PPT mode of examination had many challenges ranging from fraud, malpractices, logistic problems and insecurity.
Hence, the board’s commitment to adopt CBT as the only mode of examination by 2015 with over 156 CBT centres nationwide, 10 which were built single-handedly by the board.
He also mentioned that the federal government has promised to build world standard CBT centres in each of the 109 senatorial districts in the country.
