For displaying unparalleled honesty, a staff of the University has
received official commendation from the Vice-Chancellor, FUTO. Renowned
Scientist and scholar, Prof. (Mrs.) C.O. Asinobi of the Department of
Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine,
Imo State University who is currently on sabbatical leave in FUTO
exhibited uncommon honesty and integrity by returning a payment of over
N400, 000.00 credited to her bank account in error.
On discovering the huge over-payment, Prof. Asinobi quickly notified the
authorities and returned the amount made to her in error to the
University. in his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor commended her for
displaying rare honesty and uncommon courage and wished her well in her
future endeavours.
