Bida Poly Names New Rector

Dr. Abubakar A. Dzukogi has been appointed as the new acting Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Bida.

Before his appointment, he was a deputy director in the institution.

The decision to appoint him was reached during the governing council’s meeting held recently.

Dzukogi holds a degree in Mass Communication from Bayero University, Kano, M.Sc in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos and a doctorate degree from Benue State University.

He has held positions as head of Mass Communication Department, Directorate for Continuing Education and Directorate of Academic Affairs.

He has been described as a man rich in experience and leadership qualities.
He assumed office on March 23, 2015.
