2015/16 Michael and Cecilia Ibru University Undergraduate Scholarship Application Details

Michael and Cecilia Ibru University, (MCIU) in Delta State of Nigeria is pleased to announce the establishment of the MCIU International Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme, as a part of the new MCIU Scholars schemes which will directly benefit students entering undergraduate education in 2015/2016.

The MCIU International Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded as part of the MCIU Scholars schemes for undergraduate studies in the university’s Faculty of Management and Social Sciences and that of Faculty Of Natural And Applied Sciences in the academic year 2015/2016.

Successful applicants receive up to one million naira (5000 USD) applied toward their tuition fees at MCIU for the entire duration of undergraduate study.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship students must:
Be at least 16 years of age.
Possess at least five credit “O” level passes which must include a credit pass in English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject in not more than two sittings.
Entry requirement for Direct Entry must include UTME requirement for that particular course.
Selection Criteria:
Students will be selected on the basis of a Personal Statement and Interview.

A good personal statement must not exceed 500 words and it will be a chance to tell us about yourself, why you think you deserve this scholarship and how you think it will help you serve yourself and your school once you graduate.

Industrial Chemistry,
Industrial Mathematics,

Number of awards
There are a total of one hundred and fifty (150) scholarships and bursaries are available

Sponsorship duration
Scholarships are awarded for the entire duration of the recipient’s undergraduate study.

Scholarship benefits
Every successful applicant will receive up to one million naira (5000 USD) applied towards his or her tuition fee at MCIU

Method of Application
Interested applicants need to complete the online MCIU Registration Form found on the school’s official website. Thereafter, take time to carefully compose your personal statement (500 word limit).
