Federal University Otuoke To Commence October 6th

This is a good news to all admitted students of the Federal University of Otuoke, more especially for those admitted since the previous academic year.

The University senate have finally brought out schedule of events marking the resumption/take-off of academic activities in one of the nine (9) new federal universities created by the Goodluck administration.

According to information gathered by "Myschool", the University which is located in the town of the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan have their resumption time-table as shown below;

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 06, 2012: STUDENTS ARRIVE ON CAMPUS

a) Checking into Halls of Residence begins at 08:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 06, 2012 and ends on Monday, October 08, 2012.
The allocation of hostel rooms to students is on the basis of first-come-first-served. The allocation of hostel rooms closes at 6:00p.m. each day. It closes finally on Tuesday, October 09, 2012.

b)NOTE
i)The Male Students’ Hostel is at Otuokpoti.
ii)The Female Students’ Hostel is at Otuoke.

ORIENTATION
Begins on Monday, October 08, 2012
Ends on Friday, October 12, 2012

LECTURES BEGIN ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2012.
MATRICULATION DATE WILL BE FIXED.
