Nigerian artistes stand up for Kefee

As fans await the burial details of the late singer, Kefee Obareki, a group of Nigerian artistes have set up a committee to facilitate the burial events in Lagos and Sapele, Delta state, respectively.

The members of the committee include, Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, Commorade Rex Anighoro, Momodu Inu Noah, Tosin Martins, Anny Ibrahim, Joan Paul, Aity Dennis-Inyang, Emem Ema, Gbenga Akintokun and Tee-Y Mix.

Others are Tim Tehilla, DJ Gosporella, Praise Machine, Victor Gospogroove, Princess, Perry Martins and DJ Direal. To this end, a symposium and Service of Songs tagged ‘An Evening With Kefee’ in Lagos, a documentary of the singer’s life and times, performances of her songs by other artistes, Kefee memorial merchandise and a tribute concert in Sapele are scheduled hold.

Meanwhile, a Condolence Register has been opened for the singer at her restaurant, Branama Kitchen, at 11 Ajose St, Mende, Maryland, Lagos.
