Applications are invited for admission into General Nursing Training
Programme of the Lagos state School of Nursing. The General Nursing
Training Programme is an aspect of Nursing Education that prepares
students to become professionally Registered Nurses. The qualifications
are ‘accredited and graded by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of
Nigeria. The programme will commence in September, 2014.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
WASCE/NECO (O’ Level) with credit in five (5) subjects including English
Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry in not more than
two (2) sittings
AGE LIMIT: 17 – 23 YEARS
STUDY PERIOD: 3 YEARS
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Application forms are obtainable at Lagos State School of Nursing
Complex, LASU-Isheri Road, Igando, Lagos (Alimosho General Hospital
Premises), from 7th May 2014 upon payment of Five thousand Naira ( N=
5,000.00) into Skye Bank Account of Lagos State. Each candidate is
required to produce a bank teller indicating =N=5,000.00 payment at the
point of collection of forms in the school.

Completed application form, photocopies of relevant documents (Birth
certificate and WASCE / NECO certificates and a handwritten essay on
“WHY I WANT TO BE A NURSE” in not more than 100 words are to be
submitted to Lagos State School of Nursing Complex, Igando on or before
23rd May, 2014 at 2.00pm.
EXAMINATION:
Examination comes up on Saturday June 21st, 2014 at the Lagos State School of Nursing Complex, Igando by 10.00am.
Examination questions will cover English Language, Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Current affairs and
introduction to Nursing.
NB: Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and a
First year fee of =N=230,000.00 (Two hundred and thirty thousand Naira
only) is to be paid before resumption date. Also note that this advert
