Tambuwal condemns Jos bomb blasts

The Speaker, House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal, has condemned the two bomb blasts that occurred in Jos on Tuesday.

His reaction was contained in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Malam Imam Imam, in Abuja.

Tambuwal urged security agencies to redouble their efforts so as to fish out the perpetrators of the attacks.

He appealed to the public to provide security agencies with useful information that would help in their investigations and described the attacks as “acts of cowardice that has no place in civilised societies.”

The speaker urged Nigerians not to despair, adding that the current security challenges bedeviling the nation would soon be a thing of the past.

He condoled with the families of those who lost loved ones in the attacks and prayed the almighty God to grant the injured speedy recovery.
