Report has it that gunmen on Tuesday shot Dr. Godwin Iwatt , a lecture at the university of Calabar in his office.
According to an eyewitness report, the two gunmen suspected to be
students walked into the lecturer’s office located at the Microbiology
Department of the institution and opened fire on him.
The lecturer is presently in a coma at the emergency unit of the General
Hospital Calabar where doctors are battling to save his life.
