Tunde and Wunmi flaunt Nigerian colours in new video

Entertainment and patriotism have won over singing couple, Tunde and Wunmi, as they are out with a new video that spin fun and strengthen nationhood.

The video that had sparked much suspense before its eventual release is titled, ‘Green White Green’.

Part of the promise of the new offering is that it features grand star Tuface, while breaking the short break the duo had since about two years ago.

The artistes note in a statement that the video showcases past victories of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, as well as a former presidents of the country.

‘Green White Green’ also showcases various ethnic groups and a number of significant achievements of the country in the past years.

Tunde says, “With the state of the nation, we just decided to lend our voices as the oldest existing group to the gospel of peace, safety and oneness, in order to encourage Nigerians to stay united.

“We also hope to excite existing T.W.O. fans and attract new ones with the type of music T.W.O. is known to produce.”

In the course of a musical journey that has been used as a reference point of enduring couple collaboration, T.W.O. have produced five top-chart albums and numerous singles, including Fine Bara, Mogbomoya and Zombie.

Among other feats, the Nigeria Music Video Award winning-group were recently honoured by the Phoenix Organisation, run by students from a number of universities, including the Olabisi Onabanjo University and the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
