While general opinion is that we need to sleep more to remain healthy and function right, an expert warns that getting too much sleep could actually be bad for your health. Shawn Youngstedt, a professor at Arizona State University who studies sleep duration told Wall Street Journal
'The lowest mortality and morbidity is with seven hours,' says .But eight hours or more has consistently been shown to be hazardous,Just last month a study of almost 9,000 people found those aged 50 to 64 who slept for less than six hours a night - or more than eight - had worse memories and decision-making abilities....
So we need just 7 hours of sleep. Not more or less
