    First find some flint. Look around. Sometimes the hardest part is finding a good piece. flint is hard,grey and smells weird. it should be about the size of a fist.

    Place it on a hard surface on its side. Hit it on its side with a hammer. Flakes will come off keep hitting it until you get a few thin good size flakes.

    Chip them into the size you want and chip notches on the side

Tips

    It may take a few hits to get good flakes.
    Look at how other arrowheads to get idea on the shape.
