The Commissioner for Information Enugu State, Mr. Chuks Ugwoke on
Thursday announced that the Enugu State College of Agriculture and
Agro-Entrepreneurship at Iwollo, Ezeagu Local Government Area is now
Enugu State polytechnic following the approval came from the Enugu State
Executive Council.
According to him this is in consideration of the importance of technical
education development and job creation and said that the state College
of Agriculture Laws of 2009 would be amended to embrace the upgrade and
change.
The Executive council also approved the sum of N252,450,000 as take-off
grant to the proposed polytechnic for rehabilitation and expansion.
