The occupants of the the Olori Female Hall of The Polytechnic Ibadan
recently ran for their lives when an alligators was sighted in the
hostel.
According sources due to the closeness of the hostel to the Apete
Rriver, snakes are usually seen around the hostel but this happens to be
the first time an alligator would be sighted around the hostel, an
indication that there may be harmful creatures in the river.
Some of the students while chatting with journalist said the alligator
may have escaped from the Ibadan Zoo while another source said the
reptile was spiritually sent to attack one of the hostel’s occupants.
The alligator was said to have been killed with a long rod by the hostel Porters when it tried to escape into the river.
