Nigeria’s police chief, Mohammed Abubakar today visited the scene of Tuesday’s twin bomb blasts at the Jos Terminus Market
The Inspector General of Police was accompanied by heads of other security agencies.
He called for calm and promised to unmask those behind the dastardly act.
According to the police, the blasts killed 75 persons, including two children. Seventy others were injured.
But the country’s National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, said 118 people died in the bombing at the peak period of the popular market.
