 Steps

    1
Do you get mad when your parents tell you to do something you don't want to do?

When asked to do something, do it. A huge part of maturity is being respectful. When your mom tells you to clean your room, don't argue! Just do it. Why? Because they are your parents and they know what's best for you. For example, you tell your younger sister that it isn't good for her to eat sugars and sweets all the time. You tell her that because you know it's true, because you're older. That's what your parents do. So next time your Dad tells you to do your homework, just do it, because you know they're telling you that because they love you.

Part of being a good student is making sure you are on time to school.

Be a good student. Part of being mature is being dependable. Your teachers are like your parents. They want you to do well. Make an effort to do well in school.
    3
Be honest. How can you be mature if you lie? Honesty is an important characteristic of being mature. Tell the truth, no matter how bad the case may be.
    4
Use your manners. This includes being at the table, too! People enjoy being around people who are pleasant to be around. Here are some simple ways to have good manners.
Look people in the eye when speaking to them.
        Chew with your mouth closed.
Don't talk with food in your mouth.
Don't put your elbows on the table.
Always thank people for rides, meals, and other tasks.
Don't say anything that might be offending to other people.
    5
Be friendly. Nobody likes to be around people who are not pleasant to be around! Always try your best to maintain a positive attitude, and smile!
    6
Instead of borrowing money from your parents, get a small job. Walking dogs, car washing and other little things can get you some money.
    7
Be hygienic. Keep yourself as clean as you can and bathe often. Maintain your appearance.

 Warnings

Don't try to grow up too fast. While it's great to be a mature kid and gain respect from adults, at the same time, you should know when to let loose and have fun. Stop to enjoy your childhood years, because they don't last very long.
