Fisayo Soyombo Inter Varsity Essay Competition – 2015

Here is your chance to win N100,000  from the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan (UI) inter-university essay competition. It’s very easy.

The Union of Campus Journalists (UCJ), University of Ibadan  (UI) is organizing an inter-university essay competition to know what students think of a post election Nigeria. The competition was organized in honour of Fisayo Soyombo, a former campus journalist from U.I. and editor at The Cable.

The topic of the inter-university essay competition is “Will four years of Muhammadu Buhari lead Nigeria to socio-economic prosperity?” .

Fisayo Soyombo Essay Competition – Prize:

The star prize is N100,000 (one hundred thousand naira) and a winner will be announced in September.

Fisayo Soyombo Essay Competition Entry Guidelines:

• Entries should not exceed 1000 word,
• Essay should be submitted to mail@ucjui.com,
• The deadline for the submission is 15 July, 2015.

Who is Fisayo Soyombo?

Fisayo Soyombo is a former campus journalist from University of Ibadan. He graduated in 2007 and editor at The Cable. He’s sponsoring the competition’s prize money.

There will be  a dinner/award ceremony in November to round off the school calendar/session and give the star prize to the winner of the competition.
