The University of Jos has matriculated 6,700 students for the 2014/2015 academic session.
The Vice Chancellor, University of Jos, Prof. Hayward Mafuyai during the ceremony advised newly matriculated
students to imbibe the spirit of unity for peaceful
co-existence within and outside the institution.
Prof.
Mafuyai gave the advise during the 2014/2015 matriculation ceremony of
the University held at the multi-purpose Auditorium, bauchi road campus.
He said the University promotes one Nigeria and
togetherness
through academic and social activities as he maintained that the
institution will uphold her integrity, standard and academic excellence
as rated by National and International academic organizations.
Prof. Mafuyai also advised students to maintain
the
laid down rules and regulation of the University and seek assistance if
the need arises from the appropriate authority, as He warn them to
beware of persons with questionable characters to avoid been victim of
fraudulent activities.
