How to Make Ombré Jewelry

Steps

    Gather your supplies. You will need a make-up sponge, 2 shades of nail polish and a flat, silver piece of jewellery.

    Lay down a piece of paper/newspaper/tablecloth. Place the jewelry on this.

    Apply some of the lighter shade of polish onto a makeup sponge. If the polish is quick dry, dab off any excess.

    Dab the top half of the jewelry with the sponge that has polish on it. Be sure to cover the whole top half.

    Apply the darker shade of polish to another sponge.

    Dab this on the lower half. Be sure to blend it with the lighter color.

    After the darker color has dried, go back and dab on more of the same color on the bottom. The pattern should be dark, medium, light.

    Let the polish dry and enjoy your ombré jewelry!



Tips
  • If the polish you want to use is chunky, add a bit of nail polish remover to the nail polish.
  • If you use quick dry, dab some off before applying.
