Another milestone was recorded by the University with the commissioning
of the FUTO Guest House, the first of its kind to be developed in the
University since inception.
The Guest House was commissioned by the Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday,
February 11, 2014 at the Guest House premises located near the
University Staff School. The 22-Room Capacity Guest House has been
tastefully furnished to meet acceptable international standards.
In his speech at the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor disclosed that the
Guest House will not only boost our hospitality and internally generated
revenue efforts but also save huge costs hitherto incurred by the
University in rented guest houses and hotel bills for guests of the
University.
He added that the Guest House would also impact positively on catering
services for various activities, programmes and ceremonies hosted by the
University.
