Two candidates who sat for the on-going 2015 Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examination UTME computer base test over the weekend has
been arrested following alleged examination malpractice.
The
candidates who were arrested at Esa-Oke, in Obokun Local Government Area
of Osun State were said to have connived with one Mr Adebayo, the owner
of Awolism Educational Consultant to perpetrate the unlawful act.
When
contacted, The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Osun State, Mrs.
Folashade Odoro (DSP) confirmed the incident and said investigation has
already commenced and the culprits will face full wrath of the law at
the end of the investigation.
Commenting, the JAMB Coordinator in
Osun state, Mr. Johnson Adebiyi maintained that the newly introduced
computer based test was aimed at curbing examination malpractice and
stated that the there is no hidden place for perpetrators of exam
malpractices.
