Nigeria Management Scholarships 2015
We
are pleased to offer Management Scholarships to Nigerian undergraduate
students. The scholarships are worth £2,000 per year each.
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your undergraduate studies in September 2015 in the Management School.
You must be a national of or permanently domiciled in Nigeria.
You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
The scholarship is for full-time and part-time students only.
Part-time students will receive the full value of a one year of
scholarship split pro rata over the duration of an equivalent single
full-time academic year.
The scholarship will be awarded automatically – no application is required.
The scholarship will be awarded unconditionally in the first year of
study. Receipt of the award in subsequent years of study is subject to
the achievement of a 60% overall average mark in the previous academic
year.
The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction only.
The scholarship will not be applied during any optional or compulsory study abroad periods or year in industry.
The Scholarships will not be awarded where partial funding is
applicable from an external body* and there is an agreement already in
place between the external body and the University of Sheffield to offer
a tuition fee discount to the student.
Social Science International Scholarships 2015
We
are pleased to offer Social Science Scholarships to Nigerian
undergraduate students in any of the following departments: East Asian
Studies, Economics, Education, Geography, Information School,
Journalism, Politics, Sociological Studies, Town and Regional Planning.
The scholarships are worth £2,000 per year each.
Eligibility and Award Criteria:
You must hold an offer of a study place and begin your undergraduate
studies in September 2015 in the one of the Social Sciences Departments
mentioned above.
You must be a national of or permanently domiciled in Nigeria.
You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
The scholarship is for full-time and part-time students only.

Nigeria Merit Undergraduate Scholarships 2015 (50% tuition fee discount)
There
are two Nigeria Merit Undergraduate Scholarships available for Nigerian
students starting their undergraduate degree studies in September 2015.
Each
scholarship is worth 50% of the Undergraduate annual tuition fee. This
is guaranteed in the first year of study and is available in each
subsequent year, excluding any years in industry or years abroad,
subject to achieving 60% or above in the previous academic year – this
applies to all undergraduate programmes except Medicine and Dentistry.
Students of Medicine or Dentistry will only receive the scholarship for
the non-clinical years (Medicine years 1 & 2 and Dentistry year 1).
The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction only.
To
be eligible for the Nigeria Merit Undergraduate Scholarships 2015 (50%
tuition fee discount), applicants must be self-funding and classed as
‘overseas’ for fee purposes AND be a Nigerian national or permanently
domiciled in Nigeria and hold an offer for entry in September 2015 by
Friday 17 April 2015. The deadline for applications is Friday 24 April
2015, results will be announced by Friday 29 May 2015.
The Nigeria Merit Undergraduate Scholarships 2015 (50% tuition fee discount) are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
If

Advanced Placement (AP) Merit Undergraduate Scholarships 2015 (50% tuition fee discount)
We are delighted to announce a new scholarship scheme for undergraduate applicants who are taking Advanced Placements (AP)
Three scholarships are available for AP holders starting their undergraduate studies in September 2015.
Each
scholarship is worth 50% tuition fee discount of your undergraduate
course tuition fee per year, for up to three years of study. The
Advanced Placement scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic
merit.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be
studying for or have taken Advanced Placements, apply for an
undergraduate study place by Friday 17 April 2015 and hold an offer of a
study place for entry in September 2015.
Eligible students will
automatically be sent details of how to apply from January 2015 onwards.
Applicants cannot apply for the scholarship before being offered a
study place at Sheffield.
The scholarships will be awarded
unconditionally in the first year of studies. Award in subsequent years
of study is subject to the achievement of 60% overall average mark.

Postgraduate Scholarships eg MA, MSc
The
University offers the following scholarships for Nigerian students who
show exceptional academic potential starting a postgraduate taught
masters programme at the University of Sheffield in September 2015.
Nigeria Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2015 (50% tuition fee discount)
There
are three Nigeria Merit Postgraduate Scholarships , available for
Nigerian students starting their postgraduate taught masters programme
in September 2015.
Each scholarship is worth 50% tuition fee
discount of your postgraduate taught masters degree tuition fee per
year, for one year of study. The scholarships will take the form of a
tuition fee reduction.
To be eligible for the Nigeria Merit
Postgraduate Scholarships 2015 (50% tuition fee discount), applicants
must be self-funding and classed as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes AND a
Nigerian national or permanently domiciled in Nigeria, apply for a study
place by Friday 19 June 2015 and hold an offer of a study place for
entry in September 2015. The deadline for applications is Friday 26 June
2015 and results will be announced by Friday 24 July 2015. The Nigeria
Merit Postgraduate Scholarships 2015 (50% tuition fee discount) are
awarded on the basis of academic merit.
