The Management of Ekiti State University, wishes to inform all graduands, parents, guardians and the general public as well as friends of the University that the activities marking its 19th Convocation Ceremony will take place as scheduled below:

Thursday, 19th March, 2015
i.) Event: Convocation Lecture
Venue: Main Auditorium
Time: 11.00 a.m

Guest Lecturer: Professor Oluwafeyisola Sylvester Adegoke, FSAN, FAS, FNMGS, NNOM
Professor of Geology, Chairman, Governing Board of the Nigerian National Merit Award (NNMA)
Topic: “The Entrepreneurship Education Initiative: Implications for Higher Education Administration in Nigeria”

Event: Conferment of First Degrees and Award Prizes

General Information
i.) The Convocation ceremonies will involve the students who graduated from the University in 2012 / 2013 academic session in all programmes.

ii.) Academic robes and invitation cards will be available for collection from Faculty Officers/Secretaries of Faculties/ Schools / Programmes from Thursday, 19th March, 2015 upon payment of the prescribed charges as follows (excluding commissions):

First Degree/Diplomas – N5,000.00
Masters/Post Graduate – N7,500 00
Ph.D. Degree & – N15,000.00

Method of Payment

Log on to http://convocation.eksu.ng  and submit your details (Matric Number, Name, Faculty, Department and year of graduation).

Kindly pay the stipulated amount with Master Card or Verve Card and print your online receipt.
The printed receipt for payment for robes should be kept intact as it will be required for collection of certificates or transcripts in future.

The deadline for the submission of academic robes is Tuesday, 24th March, 2015, after which a late submission charge of One Thousand Naira (N1 ,000.00) per day wIl be paid.

Damage or loss of an academic robe will attract a penalty of N25,000.

Invitation Cards For Graduating Students

Each graduating student is entitled to two invitation cards.
The invitation cards and a set of academic robe would be available for collection on presentation of e-tranzact receipt.

Convocation Brochure will be distributed to accredited graduands inside the hall.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina, congratulates the graduands on behalf of the University Community and Wishes all participants a wonderful ceremony.
