The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) on Wednesday
said it had released the examination schedule for the visually impaired
sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)
computer-based test.
A statement signed by a JAMB Director,
Alhaji Kamaldeen Oladeji, said all the visually impaired candidates
would write the examination at various centres in all the six
geo-political zones.
It said that candidates from the South-East
in Anambra would be sitting for the examination at the Nnamdi Azikiwe
University Digital Library, in Awka.
According to the statement, the examination holds at the centre from March 10 to March 11.
It
said that those in Enugu would sit for the examination on March 12, at
the Afrihub ICT and at the Institute of Management Technology centre 1.
According
to the statement, visually-impaired candidates in Ebonyi would write
the examination from March 13 to March 14 at the Easyway Academy, 106,
Old Enugu Road, Abakaliki.
It said that candidates in Abia would
sit for the examination from March 16 to March 18, at the JAMB State
Office, Ubakala, by the Enugu -Port Harcourt Expressway, Umuahia.
According
to the statement, visually- impaired candidates in Imo will write the
examination at the Imo State University, Okigwe Road, Owerri, from March
19 to 20.
The statement said 50 visually- impaired candidates would write the examination in major states in the South-East zone.
It
said such candidates in Edo, South -South Zone, will write the
examination at the Ugbowo Campus of the University of Benin, from March
10 to March 11.
According to the statement, candidates in Bayelsa
will write the examination on March 13 at the KAT Consulting Ltd., 86,
Mbiama Road, Yenagoa.
“Candidates with sight challenges in Akwa
Ibom would write the 2015 JAMB examination on March 16 at the Ibom
e-Library Complex, IBB Way, Uyo,’’ it said.
The statement said
Cross River-based visually-impaired candidates would write the
examination at the University of Calabar e-Library in Calabar on March
18.
According to the statement, 15 candidates will sit for the examination in the South-South Zone.
It
said that candidates in Lagos, South-West zone, would write the
examination from March 10 to March 16, at the University of Lagos ETF
Centre, Akoka, Yaba.
The statement also said that candidates in
Ogun would take the examination from March 17 to March 18, at the
Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
It said the Oyo State-based
visually-impaired candidates would take the examination from March 10
to March 14 at the JAMB Zonal Office, Quarter 845, Agodi GRA, Ibadan.
Similarly, candidates in Osun would write the JAMB examination on March 16, at the AITECH Atman Centre, Ilobu Road, Osogbo.
The
statement said candidates with sight challenges in Ekiti would write
the examination on March 17 at the JAMB State Office beside the CBN,
Iyin Road, Ado-Ekiti .
It said that candidates with sight
problems in Ondo State would sit for the examination on March 18 at the
Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) ETF Centre, Obakekere,
Akure.
According to the statement, 75 candidates would write the examination in the South-West Zone.
It
said that candidates in Bauchi, North- East Zone, would sit for the
examination from March 10 to March 11 at the ATBU, Bauchi.
Similarly,
the visually-impaired candidates in Gombe would sit for the examination
on March 12, at the Gombe State University NCC e-Library, in Gombe.
According
to the statement, candidates in Adamawa would write the examination on
March 14 at the American University of Nigeria, Lamidu Zubairu Way, Yola
Bypass, Yola.
It said that candidates in Taraba would sit for
the examination on March 14 at the JAMB’s state office, Old Teachers’
College, Jalingo.
According to the statement, 10 candidates are expected to sit for the examination in the zone.
It
said the visually- impaired candidates in Kano, North-West Zone, would
write the examination on March 10, at the Federal College of Education,
Kubuga, Kano.
The statement noted that those in Katsina had also
been scheduled for March 10 at the Umar Musa Yar’ Adua University,
Dutsinma Road, Katsina.
According to the statement, candidates
with sight challenges in Kaduna are to write the examination from March
12 to March 13, at the Kaduna State University Tafawa Balewa Way,
Kaduna.
It said that 12 candidates would sit for the examination in the zone. (NAN)
