Nasarawa State Government Spends N20 Million Monthly on Students Feeding -SSG

The NASARAWA State Government said it spends 20 million Naira Monthly to feed students in over twenty two boarding schools in the state.

This was disclosed by the State Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Hajiya Zainab Ahmed.

According to the state secretary General this shows the commitment of the state Governor in improving education in the state.

“Everybody has seen and can testify to what Alh. Tanko Al-Makura has done to the people of the state.

He has declared free education from the primary to the secondary level and has undertaken payment to the National Examination Council (NECO) fees to enable the children of less privileged have access to education as well as remove the burden of school fees on parents for the benefit of all”.

She further urged parents to report any principal who demands NECO registration fees from their wards
