Nigerian Emerges Best Student In Malaysia


A Nigerian, Miss Li Hammed Morufat Abimbola, has emerged as one of the best graduates produced by a Malaysian university, scoring 3.93 out of 4 points in her Masters degree programme.

She obtained her Master of Science in Food Biotechnology at the Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM).

17 Nigerians, consisting of 3 PhD, 12 M. Sc and two first degree students graduated during the convocation where 1, 689 graduates completed their programmes.

Dr. Lawal Saa’d, Dr. Atotileto Abdulsalam, Agbaje Rafiu, Li Hammed and other graduates called on Nigerian government to create enabling environment for Nigerians to excel more at home and abroad.

They noted that Nigerians are greatly endowed and its leaders should harness the country’s natural and human resources for development.
