UNIPORT Teaching Hospital Begins Admission Into Community Health Officers Training Programme for 2015/2016 Session

Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates for admission into (two) years community Health Officers Training Programme in the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt, leading to the award of a Higher Diploma in Community Health for 2015/2016.

Entry Qualification
Eligible candidates must be physically and mentally fit and possess any of the following requirements:

Diploma in Community Health with less than two years post-qualification experience plus 5 (five) credit level passes in SSCE(WAEC, NECO or GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, which must include; English Language, Mathematics and Biology/Health Science.
Community Health Extension worker with five years experience, 5 (five) credit level passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO or GCE OL) at not more than two sittings which must include: English Language, Mathematics and Biology/Health Science.
Applicants must be registered with the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria and possesses a valid practice licence.

Entrance Examination/Interview Date
Entrance examination would be conducted on Monday 22nd June, 2015 while the oral interview will be communicated to candidates on the day of examination.

Method of Application
Applicants should pay a non-refundable fee of N5,000.00 (five thousand naira) only into UPTH account No. 0008832954 with the Sterling Bank, UPTH Branch and obtain receipts from the office of the Assistant Director (Finance): They should on presentation of evidence of such payment obtain forms from the Administrative office, Community Health Officers Programme complex from Monday 13th April to 12th June, 2015.
