The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has
direct its staff and students to resume work promptly or latest by
Monday, 9th February, 2015.
The decision was sequel to a
directive of the Institution’s Governing Council at its emergency
meeting held on Friday, 6th February, 2015 to suspend all Unions
activities by the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic,
Ado-Ekiti.
By this report, all staff who have been on strike
since the beginning of the year are hereby directed to resume work
immediately or face the sack if they fail to comply.
Consequently
and in line with the directive of the Honourable Minister of Education
that all Institutions should be in session at this period, all Full-time
Students are similarly directed to resume for normal academic
activities as from Monday, 9th February, 2015.
All Staff are hereby warned that failure to heed this directive is tantamount to an act of gross misconduct.
