Following INEC’s postponement of feb 14th general elections to march
28, 2015, a lot of speculations, assumptions & rumors have been
making the rounds about the state of Nasarawa State University academic
calender, particularly the commencement date for 2nd semester.
The
rumor has it that the university senate have met & reworked the
school calender, adding that the new resumption date for 2nd semester is
feb 16, 2015 as against march 8, 2015 which is the official resumption
date. It went futher to state that a circular has been released to that
effect.
Disturbed by this development, the School Information
& Protocol Officer, Mallam Jameel Zakari was contacted by
liveschoolnews.com.ng grapevine and he clearly stated that the school
calender remains unchanged, maintaining that 2nd semester commences
march 8th, 2015… Students are adviced to go home and enjoy there break..
As the school calendar remains contant and unchanged.
