How to Have Fun on a Computer

Are you stuck at your parent's office or spending time somewhere that the only entertainment is the computer? Here are some ideas for having fun on the computer if you don't already have ideas of your own.

   Find the computer games that are on the computer. Most computers have basic games like Solitaire and Minesweeper on them without having to go on the internet.

   Find the drawing program. Make pictures of people, animals, shapes, etc. Color them in and make whole scenes. Print them if you are allowed to, or email them to yourself.

   Write a story. Find the Word program or similar writing program and write a story. You could make it a comic strip, a short story, a poem, a limerick, haiku, whatever you'd like.

   Make a song. If you're on a Mac, use Garageband to make a song of your own.

   Go on the internet. Be sure to ask first if this is all right though. On the internet, you could:
