  2. 2
The second method is to delete the selected files directly. Means use simple keyboard shortcuts to delete only selected files.

Delete Directly

  1. 1
Right click the Recycle bin and select 'Properties.

  2. 2
Tick the box 'Do not move the files to the Recycle Bin. Remove filed immediately when deleted.'

  3. 3
    Click 'OK'

  4. 4
Now your settings are saved. The next time you will delete the files, you will only be asked to confirm the delete. If you will click 'OK' then your files will be deleted from the computer permanently.

  5. 5
You can reverse the settings just by unchecking the option 'Do not move the files to the Recycle Bin. Remove filed immediately when deleted.'

Alternative Method of Permanent Deletion

  1. 1
Single click the file or folder, which you want to delete permanently. The file/folder will be colored (as it is been selected) then hold SHIFT key, and then press DELETE key. A dialog box will appear with 'Are you sure you want to delete '...'?

  2. 2
Click 'OK' and your file/folder will be deleted permanently.
