How to Fax from a Computer

   Check that your PC or laptop has a phone line card also called a modem.

   Plug it in! Plug in a phone line from the modem to the wall jack.

• Most modern computers come with faxing software. In iMac you use Preview software which comes with the system, go to file then print, then pdf button, then opens the fax window, choose your modem, type in your destination fax tel number, then fax. Open Office software can also fax. But this is very basic.
