OSUSTECH Graduates 5000 Students

About 5,000 students from the faculties of Management Sciences, Environmental Studies and Engineering of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke during the combined Convocation Ceremony graduates of 2008/2009 academic session to 2012/2013 sessions received various degree certificates.

Dr. Augustus Oke, the Rector of the institution, said the categories of awards for graduands include: Advanced Certificates, National and Higher National Diplomas for both full-time and part-time students of the institution.

Parts of the activities lined-up for the event include, convocation lecture entitled Unlocking the potentials of Polytechnic and Colleges of Technology for National Development, Issues, Challenges and Prospect, delivered by Professor Matthew Idowu Ajibero, former Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic and current Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Higher Education.

Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, the first Executive governor of Osun State and Engr. Samuel Olatunde Fadahunsi, the first Chairman of Governing Council of the institution received fellowship award of the institution during the ceremony.
