EKSU College Of Medicine Gains NUC Accreditation

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to the College of Medicine of Ekiti State University.

The Cheering news was made known to Journalists and members of the University Community by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina, FAS at the 20th Convocation Press Briefing held on Monday, 16th March, 2015 inside the Senate Chamber of the University.

Professor Aina noted that the accreditation was the first in the history of the College of Medicine adding that the University was expecting a positive result from another body, the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

The Vice-Chancellor told journalists that feelers from the body indicated a positive result. He used the occasion to reel out the programmes of the 20th Convocation Ceremonies culminating in the conferment of first degrees and award of Prizes on Friday, 20th March, 2015 and conferment of Higher degrees and award of Prizes on Saturday, 21st March, 2015.
