JAMB 2015 CBT: All Results Would Soon Be Released —JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday said that results of all candidates who sat for the 2015 UTME Computer Based Test (CBT) would soon be released.

There were bucket loads of complaints by some candidates who wrote the CBT examination which ended nationwide on March 21.

According to the candidates, the inability of some of them to receive the results of the CBT mode of examination is undermining the procedures on instant feed back.

The JAMB Public Relations Officer, Mr Fabian Benjamin, said in Lagos that the board regretted the development, blaming the hitch on telecommunication network problem.

Benjamin urged the affected candidates to remain calm as efforts were on to tackle the issue.

“We want to assure all candidates who took the CBT  examination, whose results were still pending, that they will soon get their results.
“The major cause of the delay is that of network.

“But now that the examinations are over and we are all back from the field, we are putting everything in place to ensure that these results are released without further delay.

“I want to assure that the board is doing a lot to ensure that the candidates and the people of Nigeria are given the best at all times.
“I am sure that this development will not repeat itself.

“But having said that, I want to state that some of the challenges associated with the delay are as a result of poor data information on the part of the candidates,” he said.

Benjamin, who described the conduct of this year’s Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as the best ever in the history of the board, appealed to Nigerians for support.
