The rector federal polytechnic Nekede mrs C U Njoku on the
matriculation day awarded scholarships to three female students who were
among the matriculants.
The three lucky girls two came from
School of Engineering technology (SET) were awarded the scholarships
based on the fact that you hardly see female students taking engineering
courses.
One of the ladies has a physical challenge and got the
attention of the Rector when she made the closing remarks on behalf of
other matriculants.
