As of
2012, the schools are putting a great effort into career education for
youth. There are many careers to choose from but if you have an interest
you may want to consider a career in the arts.

- 1Encourage your schools to bring the arts to your school. Kids need to be exposed to many different types. There is design, performance art, sculpture, interior design, makeup artist, fashion design, art lecture, art exhibition, web design, just to name a few.
- 2Have demonstrations of different types of art for the kids.
- 3Have hands on lectures and classes.
- 4Expose kids to as many careers as possible
- 5Bring in paid professional groups or even parents to show what they do.
- 6Start a career day at your school.
- 7Have the kids study a different career and do a talk on the one of their choice.
- 8Have the kids do mock towns in their school. The students will set themselves up as their job of choice. You can have the interior design shop, or the computer designer store, etc.
- 9Have the kid’s role play their choice with drawings and ideas.
- 10Let the kids dress the part.
- 11Let them do the advertising for their shop with signs and flyers.
- 12Motivate the other kids to want to visit the other stores by having each store do something to bring in the crowd. Kids learn by play, and they do not have to leave the school grounds to do this.
