How to Disable Chkdsk at Startup

Chkdsk appears in the start up you want to disable it.

This are the steps

    Click Start Button
    2
    Click Run Button
    3
    Type cmd
    4
    Type "chkntfs /x c:" in the command prompt so you won't see it every time you start up your computer.

You can also:

    Click on Start, Run and type in regedit.

    Navigate to the following subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

    1
    Change Boot Execute to autocheck autochk *
    2
    Exit Your Registry
    3
    Restart to prove that there is no chkdsk at your computer.

Warnings

    Never Remove your plug while its shutting down because it would enable the chkdsk.
    Never Skip Chkdsk.
