How to Apply Lipstick for Evening Makeup

Are you about to go out for the evening, and you don't want your lips to look like a clown would? Follow these simple steps to have the perfect lips that your partner will be crazy about.

Steps

First, make sure that your lips are moisturized. Take petroleum jelly or chapstick and rub it on your lips.

Always do your lips last. If you want the color to stay, and you didn't spend a lot of money on lasting lipstick, applying it first will make is wear off, even before your date has started.

Don't wear a lipstick that comes of very easily if you are planning to make out. Bright red lipstick might be hot on you, but not your partner!

Try to stay away from lip plumpers. They can cause severe rashes and, who cares if your lips are a little thin? If they really bother you, use a lip liner to expand your lips a little bit.

Be sure to have fun with colors! Don't stick to your normal color. Even if your normal color is fuchsia, change it up a bit to maybe a red or a more subtle nude.

Tips
Don't stress too much on your lips. It's only one part of your entire evening, and surely, if your lips are a little duller or not as fresh, your partner won't even notice because he loves you, not your lips.

Have fun and experiment. Get a second opinion to make sure that what you're wearing isn't too dramatic, but in the end, make your own decision.

Warnings
    AVOID LIP PLUMPERS!
