How to Make a Shoe Box Bookshelf

Bibliophage's, comic book geeks and otaku alike all have one similar issue, TOO MANY BOOKS~ I NEED A BOOKSHELF. Though this is true, a good book shelf that will keep your treasured books safe are a bit too expensive, especially if you're a jobless teen (or you would rather spend your precious money on more books.)

N.B For more information and updates visit www.campusflava.com

 Steps
  1. 1
Take your larger box and open it up. Put the lid down flat on the ground put the bottom of the box inside of it on its side.

  2. 2
Take the lid of the smaller box and slit the sides.

    • Then, put the big box into it.

  3. 3
    Start stacking books.
    • If you have a bunch of paper back copies, be sure to put the hard covers you have at the bottom at both ends and keeping them an even height.

    • If there is a gap in the middle but it is not enough room for others books on its side, just put them up straight.

  4. 4
Once you're done with that and if you still have books left, use the side. Line them up the way you lined up the middle row so that the binding is facing the outside.

    • If you still need room, feel free to make another side!

Things You'll Need
  • Large shoe box
  • Smaller shoe box ~ about the length of the smaller end of your larger shoe box cover
  • Scissors
