Learn How to Make a Lamp out of a Vase

Ever wanted to have a nice lamp for your bedroom or lounge? Well, this article will tell you how to create a nice lamp out of a simple vase. Click here for more updates.

Steps

  1. 1
    Clean and dry your vase.
  2. 2
Using a glass drill bit, Drill a small hole (for the lamp assembly) in the bottom center. Then drill a hole (for the wires) on the side toward the bottom of the vase.
  3. 3
Install a lamp kit. The kit should have instructions but each will be different. The "Westinghouse #70025 Make A Lamp Kit" kit is one of the best on the market.
  4. 4
Use the plumbing pipe and run it down the center of the vase as a central column. You run wires through here and out of the hole at the side.
  5. 5
Use epoxy glue to glue the central column in place.
  6. 6
Add a light bulb and a small lampshade.
