Learn How to Make a Holder for an Electric Drill

Make a useful holder for your electric drill that will cost you no effort and no money. Electric drills are always getting in the way, encumbering the workbench and wasting time if you keep them in their original containers: carton boxes or hard plastic cases

Steps
  1. 1
    Get a plastic container for washing machine detergent.
    • The container must look like a jar; those that have an oval hole for easy handling.

    Draw a slanted line near the bottom.
  3. 3
    Carefully cut along the line.
  4. 4
    Discard the bottom and the cap.
  5. 5
    Punch a hole in the vertical of the oval hole and 2 or 3 cm below the rim.
  6. 6
    Attach the "holder", ( holster ?) to the workbench using a screw and a washer to avoid tearing.
  7. 7
    Optionally,punch another hole for the chuck key, to have it at hand.
  8. 8
    Use the holder to store a plugged in drill and when you finish your job,unplug and wind the flex around the drill.
